The Unknown Suppressors OG30 is a lightweight, over-the-barrel suppressor designed around the needs of suppressed hunting rifles. Its reflex-style configuration measures 8 inches overall but extends only 4 inches forward of the muzzle, helping maintain a shorter, better-balanced rifle compared with a conventional suppressor of similar overall length.

Printed as a single piece from Grade 23 titanium, the OG30 eliminates welded joints and weighs approximately 8.6 ounces. The .30-caliber bore makes it a versatile option for a wide range of centerfire hunting cartridges while its compact forward length is especially appealing on rifles carried through timber, blinds, vehicles, and uneven terrain.

Over-the-Barrel Design

The OG30 splits its 8-inch overall length between approximately 4 inches forward of the muzzle and 4 inches extending back over the barrel. The result is a full-size suppression system that adds considerably less overall rifle length than a traditional muzzle-forward suppressor.

This layout makes the OG30 particularly well suited to hunting rifles where overall length, weight and balance matter as much as sound reduction.

Sound Performance

Unknown Suppressors reports a measurement of approximately 130.0 dB at the shooter's ear when tested on a 20-inch .308 Winchester rifle.

Mounting

The OG30 uses 5/8-24 direct threads. A purpose-built Unknown Suppressors 1/2-28 to 5/8-24 adapter is available separately for compatible rifles with 1/2-28 muzzle threads.
