Return & Refund Policy

Last updated: July 2026

At Lawson & Cooper Arms, we stand behind the products we sell and strive to provide a professional, straightforward purchasing experience. Please review this policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

Eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery unless otherwise stated. Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • Uninstalled
  • In original packaging
  • In the same condition received

Items showing signs of use, modification, damage, or missing packaging may not qualify for return or refund. Lawson & Cooper Arms reserves the right to deny any return that does not meet these conditions.

Firearms Sales

All firearm sales are considered final once the firearm has been transferred to the customer by the receiving FFL dealer. Customers are responsible for verifying legality prior to purchase, confirming model and configuration details, and ensuring compatibility with local and state laws.

If a firearm is returned by the receiving FFL dealer before transfer to the customer, approved returns may be subject to shipping costs, restocking fees, and payment processing fees. Firearms already transferred to the customer are not eligible for return unless determined defective by the manufacturer.

NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs & Trusts)

NFA items remain in our possession pending ATF approval and are not shipped or transferred until your Form 4 or Form 1 is approved. Because these items are held rather than shipped, standard return timelines do not apply the same way — contact us directly with any questions before purchasing an NFA item. Fingerprinting, EFT file, and trust preparation fees are for services already rendered and are non-refundable once completed.

Ammunition Sales

For safety and liability reasons, all ammunition sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted for ammunition once shipped.

Consignment Items

Consignment firearms and items are sold as-is based on the condition described at the time of sale. Consignment sales are final once the firearm has been transferred to the customer, consistent with our standard firearms sale policy above.

Custom Engraving & Personalized Products

Custom engraved, personalized, or special-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has begun. Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all customization details prior to production. Lawson & Cooper Arms is not responsible for customer-submitted spelling errors, artwork issues, or approval mistakes made after final confirmation.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Please include your order number, photographs of packaging and product, and a description of the issue. We will work promptly to evaluate the situation and determine an appropriate resolution.

Return Process

To request a return, customers must contact Lawson & Cooper Arms before sending any item back. Unauthorized returns may be refused. Approved returns must be shipped according to the return instructions provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to shipping damage, an incorrect item received, or a verified product defect.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law or caused by seller error. Refund processing times may vary depending on your financial institution or payment provider.

Order Cancellations

Orders canceled prior to shipment may be subject to payment processing or restocking fees depending on the product type and order status. Custom, special-order, or personalized items may not be canceled once processing or production has begun.

Fraud Prevention & Compliance

Lawson & Cooper Arms reserves the right to cancel suspicious orders, refuse service, limit quantities, request identity verification, and refuse transactions that may violate federal, state, or local law.
