Shipping Policy
Last updated: July 2026
At Lawson & Cooper Arms, we are committed to a secure, professional, and compliant purchasing experience. All orders are processed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Order Processing
Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days following payment verification. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day. Firearms, serialized products, custom engraved products, or special-order items may require additional processing time. You'll receive tracking information once your order has shipped.
Firearms Shipping
All firearms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder. Customers are responsible for ensuring purchased items are legal in their state and locality, arranging transfer through a local FFL dealer, and providing accurate transfer dealer information when required. Lawson & Cooper Arms reserves the right to cancel any order that violates federal, state, or local law. Firearms shipments require adult signature upon delivery.
NFA Items (Suppressors, SBRs & Trusts)
NFA items do not ship to the customer directly. They remain with Lawson & Cooper Arms until your ATF Form 4 or Form 1 is approved, at which point you'll complete your Form 4473 and background check in person before taking possession.
Ammunition Shipping
Ammunition ships via ground service only and cannot be expedited. It may require adult signature upon delivery. Customers are solely responsible for ensuring ammunition legality within their jurisdiction prior to purchase. We do not ship ammunition where prohibited by law.
Custom Engraving & Personalized Items
Custom engraved or personalized products may require additional processing time depending on project complexity and order volume. All custom engraving sales are final once production begins, and customers are responsible for reviewing and approving customization details prior to production. We reserve the right to refuse custom work containing prohibited, unlawful, or inappropriate content.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be restricted or prohibited in specific jurisdictions. We reserve the right to refuse shipment of any product that may violate applicable laws or our compliance standards.
Shipping Carriers
Orders may ship via UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other approved carriers. Carrier selection is determined by product type, destination, and legal and insurance requirements.
Package Protection & Lost Shipments
Optional package protection may be available at checkout. If a package is lost, damaged, or stolen in transit, notify us promptly — a carrier investigation may be required before replacement or reimbursement. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances outside our control.
Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing and shipping information. Orders returned due to incorrect address information, failed delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery may incur additional shipping charges.
Expedited Shipping
Expedited shipping may be available for select products at checkout, depending on item type, destination, carrier restrictions, and legal requirements. Expedited shipping is not available for certain regulated products, including ammunition.
